This backpack is a masterpiece of the bamboo weavers of the Teduray Tribe of North Cotabato. We sent them the dye color we got from the Philippine Textile Research Institute and they dyed the bamboo before weaving them. Basket Weaving is one of the primary sources of income of the tribe aside from farming and fishing (those living in coastal).
Their language, another distinct ethnolinguistic group, is structurally related to those of the Malayo-Polynesian family but is unintelligible even to their immediate neighbors.
This back was shipped from Cotabato to Manila then attached with leather from the craftsmen of Marikina.
Dimensions: Width 12inches, Height 13 inches
We have one remaining stock of this bag. You may have it in 3-5days within Metro Manila and 5 to 14 days for other locations in the Philippines.
