"Hinabol" is the traditional fabric made by the women of Bukidnon.

It is made of abaca and the process of weaving one roll may take 1 - 2 months from stripping of the tree to final fabric depending on the complexity of the design.

These placemats are woven by one of the many tribes from Bukidnon, namely, the Higaonon tribe.

The practice has seen a slump in practice as the people who weave the cloth have seen difficulties in selling it with consignments delaying their money by months or, at the worst testimonial, around a year. We seek to remedy that by buying their cloth outright and marketing it ourselves.
