The Creo Trays are shaped irregularly with the curved angles and handles contrasting its geometric look.
The main material of the tray - lahar, pays homage to South Sea Veneer's home province of Pampanga. The panels are casted in resin with lahar or volcanic sand, which is abundantly found in Pampanga, thanks to the Pinatubo eruption in 1991. With the massive lahar deposits all over the province's river channels, these are all now harvested for construction and furniture making purposes.
Local mahogany handles give the piece a subtle warm tone against the cool feel of the natural sand.
