Our model Ate Oday is actually the amazing nanny of my youngest daughter Ayla. Ate Oday is from the Higaonon Tribe of Esperanza, Agusan del Sur. She came to Manila with zero English and limited Tagalog. We speak Bisaya at home. Oday is a daughter of Higaonon Tribe's Datu and she grew up in the rainforest protecting the trees, hunting for wild boars, running with the monkeys, fishing in the river, planting rice and corn and weaving banigs.
This Pandan Clutch is one of her works. We use retaso from Anthill Fabrics, lined with tassels.
Aside from earning a living as a proud nanny, Oday earns extra as a Pinas Sadya model and a bag maker.
This bag indeed has a beautiful story to tell.
Available in Blue, Green and Salmon.
