Modeled by you alumni---leaders, activists, scientists, artists and advocates who embody the UP Fighting Spirit, the Limited Edition Pinas Sadya UP Jacket reflects UPs motto of honor, excellence and service.
These jackets are not just articled os clothing, they are pieces of art. Each on features vibrand handwoven patterns and traditional textiles from weaving communities from around the Philippines. The indigenous materials used in these jackets include the Piña Barong of Aklan, Cosicos Weave of Abra, Binakol Weave of Ilocos, Langkit Weave of Marawi and Hablon Weave of Negros. These unique designs are lovingly brought to life by skilled artisans and seamstresses from various regions, making every piece an incredible work of Filipino art
