This unique patched poncho is a vibrant fusion of three iconic Philippine weaves: the Checkered Hablon, Kantarines Stripes, and Abra’s Binakol, skillfully combined into a harmonious, colorful piece. It’s perfect for dinners, weekend getaways, or as a stylish quick cover-up.
Each poncho takes two months to complete, beginning with fabrics handwoven by artisan communities from Abra to Zamboanga. The design is meticulously assembled by master modistas in Marikina, then adorned with hand bead embroidery by the Tboli tribe of South Cotabato. Every stitch and bead tells a story of heritage—a true wearable work of art.
